Amazing Friends

I have the most amazing friends online as well as off. So many of you have been checking in with me daily to make sure not only that my sweet peanut is doing well but also that my whole family is alright.

People I’ve never even met have sent money to help with gas and food for our back and forth visits to the hospital. Friends offered to watch my Big JaMonkey so that I could stay at the hospital longer. I’ve gotten email and comments from others online that have helped me keep my head up.

A great blogger and friend spear headed most of this. You may know her as @WomanOnAJourney Sweet Bernice. She started a “Meal Train” where people could make dinner for us or order take out and deliver it to our house for us. It’s something that I’ve done for others in the past and this is the first time I’ve had anything sent for us. It was so helpful. My husband had his hands full with me while I was recovering so not having to worry about food was great.

I also discovered how Edible Arrangements are my new go to gift for new moms because it was the only thing that gave me energy when I was burning 5000 calories a day when my milk came in.

Friends sent Preemie clothes. Planned a last minute Baby Shower. Posted thoughtful words on my Facebook wall. I’m so thankful.

Thank you for commenting, sending love and everything else. My family and I are so thankful.
