There are many benefits when you decide to make your own baby food. It’s something every parent has the ability to do and more and more parents are realizing it. We became a nation of “easy ways” with drive thru windows and everything packaged for being “on the go.” But with this notion in mind we aren’t thinking about the most important thing. What am I feeding my baby? I’m going to talk about some of the benefits of making your own baby food. Some of them may make you stop and think about your own choices.
- Cost – Whether you’re Breastfeeding (breast pumps and storage containers) or using formula, feeding babies can become expensive. This expense will carry over when your baby starts to eat solids. Imagine spending around $40 a week, $160 (4 weeks) in a month, $1920 in a year. That’s a lot of money on food JUST for your baby. That’s “bottom level” food not organic ones. In some cases you’d have to double that if you are buying Organic.
- Ingredient’s - Not all baby food is organic and as long as it’s sitting on the shelves you know it has preservatives in it as well. When you are making your own food you know what’s going into it. You can store it in your refrigerator or freezer so there is no need for preservatives. You can mix it in breast milk, formula, or water.
- It’s so easy! – Get yourself a Baby Brezza One Step Baby Food Maker
. This thing does it all in one machine. No you can get yourself a food processor, steamer (or the pots and pans you need to steam) but wouldn’t you like to skip all the dishes and extra steps? I love that the Baby Brezza takes all that extra hassle out by steaming and blending in under 25 minutes. (Some foods even less)

I was given a Baby Brezza to facilitate my review. All opinions are my own.

I love that the Wee Generation line, by promoting massage for your baby, helps your baby sleep better. I love the baby bubble bath from the line. I also love Baby Brezza’s Perfect Measure Powder Dispenser.
I like that I can steam and puree in one container instead of multiple containers.

I love the ease of use. With having a new born child and 2 children… you don’t have alot of time. So if you are able to provide healthy options with little time is AWESOME!
