Twined is a site that offers product reviews and recommendations by reviewers they trust. They are in-depth reviews that offer a deeper insight about a product beyond, “It works great for me.” Members of the community can vote on the products they would like to try and then unlock discounts for that product! Twined will go to the vendor and negotiate a discount for the product by leveraging the communities interest in it. Image if you were selling a product and a large group of people came to you and said, “I want to order 200 of your awesome product, could you cut us a discount?” If you knew you were about to sell 200, you’d jump on it!
Check out my review of the Roku 3 on Twined, if consumers want to get their hands on it after reading my review, they can vote to say that they want it.
Twined isn’t just for consumers though. Are you a blogger that writes reviews? Then you should be getting these reviews on Twined! You can get paid for adding your quality reviews to the site and drive traffic to your site and social media profiles! When one of those big sales of a product that the community wants happens, you’ll get a percentage of the sales. Unlike affiliate programs, where influencers only get paid for customers they refer, Tastemakers are paid for every unit sold from their recommendation regardless of who referred the customer.
