Kids Digital Reading Library – Disney Story Central

Disney Story CentralMy girls love to read and my bookshelves are overflowing with tons of books. I myself have a nice collection of books, but a few years ago I stopped buying printed books and started my digital library to help save some trees and be able to read them on any device at any time. There wasn’t really an option for kids reading libraries though. Then I discovered the Disney Story Central app for iPad. It now has all of the girls Disney books all in the app, just like my reading library. The library is available via iPhone and iPad app, tablet-optimized website and Video on Demand (AT&T U-Verse).

When we signed up on the Disney Story Central website, we received 4 tokens for us to redeem for books in the store. We sorted through the library to find some books that the girls would enjoy. The library has books for every level of reader and we loved that they were sorted by character. My girls loved finding all the new Frozen Fever and Inside Out books.

The Disney Story Central has two ways to stock your children’s bookshelves, with a subscription plan or a la carte. The subscription service gives kids unlimited access to Disney Story Central’s expansive library of books for $7.99 a month. A la carte is by the token system where each token is equal to one book. If your kids love to read, the subscription would be the best option because they you could have access to brand new books as well.

Check out the Disney Story Central website or download the app from the iTunes store.
