McDonald’s new Mighty Wings
So I’m kind of a wing fan. I’m also kind of a spicy food nut. I like food with bold knock you on your…well you get it, flavor! A few years ago a chicken restaurant tried to make a crispy wing that was also spicy but without all the sauce mess. They failed miserable and I was disgraced that they even put them in a box that said spicy. Well McDonald’s has done it! They actually created a crispy bone-in wing that is also spicy. I couldn’t believe it.
They launched these Mighty Wings right here in Atlanta. We are the only city in the country right now that has them and I really hope they do well in our market because I love these things. They certainly aren’t good for my hips but boy are they tasty on my lips! Even my husband liked them. We are both hard to convince when it comes to spicy. He rarely approves of anything I try to force on him so this is a big deal.
The Mighty Wings don’t skimp on meat either. They are big pieces that can fill you up. McDonald’s is offering them in 3, 5, and 10 pieces as well as a 5 piece combo meal and they start at $2.99. If you have to have sauce (because you can’t take the heat) they are offered with Creamy Ranch, Spicy Buffalo and Tangy BarBeQue. I might try the Spicy Buffalo sauce just to give it some more kick though.
They are already in stores across the Atlanta area. Gives the chicken lovers another option to try out. You shouldn’t have any excuse as to why you can’t try them. So tasty, so good, and now I’m craving more.
