Rocking 4G Speeds Everywhere I Go with my NetZero Personal Mobile Hotspot

As bloggers we are very mobile users. I’m out and about more than most parents. So being able to blog or tweet is a must. So I’m all about being able to access my internet from anywhere without draining my data on my cellular network. I’m also a big conference junkie and along with my laptop I like having my iPad but using the same wi-fi as everyone else makes it slow. It causes quite the headache when you are trying to track tweets. Having a personal hotspot is a must. Having a 4G fast network is just another perk!

NetZero has introduced this awesome new 4G Mobile Broadband that is fast, affordable and flexible. There are no contracts you have to get sucked into a long commitment for. Wanna hear something even cooler? How about a free monthly plan! Yeah, you read that right FREE 4G Mobile Broadband. Plans start at Free* (200mb) and range up to $49.95 (4gb). With lots of them in between to choose from.

My home internet has been driving me crazy. When my husband gets home we fight for bandwidth because he streams TV shows online while I’m trying to work after the kids go to bed. It’s slow as dirt when he’s streaming and I can’t get anything to load. With the NetZero 4G I can surf away with no issues now. I use the Hotspot so I can connect up to 8 devices. So my iPad, Laptop and iPhone can all share and surf with no problem. I may keep the password from my husband so he can’t use my internet from time to time…Shhhh.

Users can choose from two speeds depending on their primary usage. If you are simply surfing and sending emails you can use Lightspeed. Lightspeed helps conserve your data usage so you aren’t “burning” through it. If you’re looking to stream video or download and upload larger files you’ll want to use the Warpspeed. You can easily change this feature in your online account. The 4G is located in lots of major cities all over the country. Making it great for traveling. Just bring your Hotspot or USB Stick with you and you can pull it where ever you go.

I ran a speed test the day I got the NetZero 4G Mobile Hotspot to see what the difference was between what I was using and this. Here is what I got.

Speed test with current provider: 4 mb/s

Test with NetZero: 11 mb/s

BIG difference!! I was very pleased with that result. I can’t wait to bring this with me to blogger conferences. The bloggers at my table or in my room are going to LOVE me!
