A Cabin with a View

During the kids Fall break last week, we were invited to check out the Gatlinburg Falls Resort cabins in Gatlinburg Tennessee. I was excited to take some time off and relax with my family. We stayed in a two-bedroom cabin that sleeps up to 8 people. It had to two sleeper sofas as well. We were on the top of the mountain with an amazing view of the Great Smoky Mountains.

It was the perfect place to unwind and relax. There were two balconies so that you could enjoy the view from anywhere in the cabin. The bottom level of the cabin was the “play” area. It has a hot tub on the deck so you could unwind on a whole new level.

There were also some fun activities we could play downstairs. With a chess table in one corner and an air hockey and pool table in the other. My girls were fascinated that I got to teach them how to play pool.
One of the cool things that most of the Gatlinburg Falls cabins has is an arcade game. No need to feed it quarters either, just select the game and play away. So those rainy days that sometimes happen during your vacation, you can still have plenty of fun back at your cabin. It also helps when you aren’t going out to multiple attractions and shelling out a lot of money. Sometimes the adults just want to hang out and cook dinner at home, the kids can play downstairs while ou do that. There is no “I’m bored” coming from anyone.

The cabin is stocked with everything you need to make life easier on your vacation. From pots and pans, to glasses and tableware, you’ll have what you need to make nice family meals when you don’t want to eat out the whole time. There are also comfy blankets and a washer and dryer handy if you are staying longer than a few days.

I could have stayed on that porch for hours watching the sky and mountains changing colors.

We can’t wait to go back and stay longer. The Great Smoky Mountains are just amazing and I wish we had stayed longer to explore the area more. If you’re looking for a wonderful cabin rental in a great area with lots of fun things to do in Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge, then check out Gatlinburg Falls Resort.
