The perfect pinterest inspired party. This party was a fun DIY project for me. Everything you need is listed below. Sunshine and Lemonade First Birthday Party

Peanut’s first birthday was a huge hit. The theme was Sunshine and Fun. I carried the theme throughout every aspect of the party. The Invitations that went out were self folding invitations and beautiful! You can download the template for them here. I made Lemonade from scratch. Created pineapple flowers and made sure all the colors were matching. We played with bubbles and enjoyed the delicious spread which was half allergy or vegan foods due to my niece having severe food allergies. We created a guest book for people to write a note to the birthday girl so that she can read them when she is older.Sunshine and Lemonade First Birthday Party

Here is everything you will need to create this awesome Sunshine and Lemonade Yellow Party

Party Menu – All Yellow and White foods

Very Vanilla Vegan Cupcakes – These came out SO good. No one could believe they were veagan. The frosting was vegan butter and powdered sugar whipped together.

Pineapple Flowers – instead of baking them in the oven I used a dehydrator to pull out most of the moisture out. They only needed to be placed in the oven for a few minutes to get the shape.

Homemade Vegan Banana Pudding – I left out the rum extract (I’m not a fan of the flavor)

Birds Nest Cookies

Vegan Chicken Salad Sandwiches – Veganaise, Baked chicken cubed, Grapes, Pecans and Sugar. (I’ll post the recipe one day soon)

Golden Oreo

Deviled Eggs

Cracker’s and Assorted Cheeses

Drink Station – Homemade lemonade

Yellow Striped Paper Straws, 50-Pack

Mason Jars

Barrel Beverage Dispenser

Paper Products

Mini Pendant Sign for Cake – I designed my own but the inspiration came from this free template. All you need is the diamond shapes, string and glue to make the. Use Bakers Twine for this project. Something like Vintage Bakers Twine in Yellow & White

Food Labels – Again, I had to color these yellow. I also used the inside as the tags for the favors.

Wilton 3-Tier Treat Stand, White – Colored yellow along the edges

Lemonade Printable

Hemp Twine – This was used throughout the whole party to give it a rustic / shabby chic look.

Guest Book Table

8 Inch by 8 Inch Fabric Frame Cover Memory Book, Soft Yellow – I had a guestbook table set up for people to write a message for the birthday girl to read when she gets older. Those that could not attend mailed their letters on yellow paper to be included in the book.

Tulips – Added a burst of color.

Large Pendent Happy Birthday Banner – Made by designing a triangle that is folded over twine and glued.

Party Favors – Thanks for brightening my day! Please take some sunshine and fun home with you.

White Jordan Almonds – You can find these in any wedding section of big stores or dollar stores.

Wedding Bubbles – Make the perfect kids party favor and you can get 12 for $1 at the dollar store. Get the fat ones because kids set things down. You can’t do that with the wedding bubbles in the wand.

Organza Bags – I found mine at the dollar store along with the wedding bubbles.

Party Invitations

The party was a big hit. People said I should start selling packages of this party but it takes a lot of work to create a beautiful party like this one. I created projects one step and day, at a time. It can’t just be thrown together in one weekend. Unless you have a good baby sitter and food brought to you during the process.

  1. Super cute! Looks like you go all out for your parties like I do 🙂 We did a ladybug lemonade birthday party for my daughter last December and it was a blast to put together!

  2. a lemonade party?! This is a great idea! I love the simple white and yellow colors. Definitely, not typical from the princesses or mainstream party ideas.
