About JaMonkey
Here on JaMonkey we share entertainment news and interviews, travel tips, fun recipes, DIY projects & crafts, organizing tips, and product reviews about brands that my family enjoys. My goal is to raise healthy, empowered girls that love S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Music), playing in the mud and know that natural beauty is more beautiful than a supermodel photoshopped in a magazine. We enjoy doing crafting projects together as well as baking in the kitchen. We have a big organic garden in our backyard where we grow fresh vegetables for our recipes. I hope by sharing the things we love to do and enjoy will inspire you to live a happy life with your family.
About Meghan Cooper – Atlanta Blogger
I’m a wife and the Mother of two little girls. I’ve recently returned to college to get my degree in journalism with a masters in professional writing. I consider myself a suburban hippie, aka a Hipster without the fashion sense. If you see me in the streets, you’ll know because you’ll catch my signature turquoise hair (or whatever color it happens to be this week). I fangirl over anything geeky like Star Wars, Disney, and superheroes. I started writing in 2008 as a way for the family that lives too far away to keep track of our milestones. Since that time, I’ve written for Fox 5 Atlanta, Aiming Low, and contributed articles to multiple magazines in Atlanta. I’m a huge supporter of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta because they helped my family when we needed it most. I also started Yeah, Let’s Go (formally Atlanta Moms on the Move) which is a travel blog with a popular local Atlanta section that lists current events and things to do with your family around Metro Atlanta.
