I am a member of the Netflix #StreamTeam
Last weekend Netflix invited us to experience their newest Netflix Originals show for kids. We all remember the silly King Julien from Madagascar, well this show is all about him and the other lemurs on the island. It’s called All Hail King Julien and it is now available to watch on Netflix. So to celebrate the big launch we got together at a local theater to watch a couple episodes.
When we arrived we made fun King Julien crowns out of construction paper, feathers, and gems.
We pretended to be King Julien in the funny cut out.
They had popcorn for us with all kinds of candy to mix in with it. The kids loved that.
JaMonkey made a great crown. She was very proud of it.
After we made our fun crafts we went into the theater to learn the King Julien dance. It was adorable watching the kids learn the steps of the dance and perform for us. I was really surprised when my Peanut got out there and started doing the dance with them. Despite the fact that she is only two, she was able to pick up some of the dance. She was out there shaking her booty just like the big kids. All while eating her snacks. That takes talent.
The girls loved the new show and we’ve already added it to our que to watch over Christmas break.
