My mother is a fantastic artist in the North Georgia Mountains (Willows Branches). But what makes her work so special to me is all the classes she does with children and disabled adults. Of course my girls get special one on one classes! But she also does homeschooling groups, Montessori schools and special needs (children and adult) programs. She gets her classmates hands dirty and making something creative. She’s awesome. Like really awesome.
So I’m so excited about to share the Blick Art Room Aid program. Learn more during the #BlickARA Twitter party this week. There are some great prizes and you can learn hope to get your child’s school art teachers involved and more.

My Mom’s an artist too! She paints &is working on her art degree now. 🙂 I may have to attend this party on her behalf!
My mother was an avid painter until her stroke. She gets along great, it just caused her to lose the precision she had in her hand.
I love art supplies. Not sure I’m much of an artist but I always wanted to be one.
