So let's get started making some Avocado Ice Pops.
The first thing you need is the juice of some yummy fruit. If you don't have a juicer, don't sweat it. You can get a simple apple juice, and these will still be tasty.
I use the juicer to sneak in spinach without my daughter noticing. Juice together the spinach, apple, mango, and pineapple.
In your food processor blend your avocados and bananas. After it's nice and smooth start adding in your juice. Then you'll want to juice a lemon and blend the lemon into the mix. The lemon acts as a preservative so that the avocado doesn't turn brown.
Avocado Ice Pops
What you'll need
1 cup spinach leaves (optional)
1/2 cup of pineapple
1/2 Mango ( about 5 slices)
Juice the spinach(optional), apple, pineapple and mango with your juicer.
Blend Avocados and the Banana in a food processor.
Add juiced fruit and blend.
Juice lemon and strain the seeds and pulp. Combine the juice in the food processor.
After your mix is well blended, pour it into your ice pop molds. We used glass shot glasses.
Allow the popsicles to freeze completely, either overnight or a few hours.
To remove from the molds run hot water on the outside for a moment and then give it a little tug. It should come right out.
