Back to School with LEGO Gear

I was sent the LEGO backpack for my honest review; this post contains affiliate links.

We are huge LEGO fans, and I was so excited to receive a fun new LEGO bag to test out. We packed it up and took it for a spin at the Georgia Aquarium before school heads back next week. My girls were so excited about this backpack that we had to let Dad carry it during the visit. As for who is getting it for school, that came down to who had the oldest backpack. JaMonkey won it in the end and will be taking it to school this year.

What I love most about this backpack is the fact that it is made from CyclePET, a durable polyester fabric made from recycled plastic. It also has the cutest custom LEGO® brick pullers. Backpacks are one of those things that I used to let me kids pick out each year, but they always ended up with cheap ones that didn’t hold up. The CyclePET makes the bag really strong and durable and last longer.

The LEGO Brick Backpack is a great option for back to school because it is big enough for a binder and winter coat. There are reflective pieces all over the bag so that you can see it during those dark mornings waiting for the bus. Each of the brick connectors in the front is also a zip pocket. The D ring at the top of the bag can be used to hook the matching lunch box to it. The inside has a large inner pocket and is lined with a bright yellow LEGO print that looks like LEGO directions. There is a water bottle pocket on one side of the bag as well. I asked my husband to carry the bag around to test it out and see how comfortable it was because we packed some water bottles and other things that were heavier than my kids’ normal school load. He said that the straps were padded and very comfortable on his shoulders. There was no digging into his shoulders. There is a chest clip for the straps that you can use for added support. JaMonkey can’t wait to bring her new LEGO backpack to school this year. LEGO has lots of other bags to choose from, but not all of them are made from the CyclePET material. They are marked with a special tag! The LEGO Brick Eco Backpack comes in Black, Red, Blue, and Pink.

Have a great back to school!
