As a nursing Mom, I’ve done quite a bit of research on nursing apparel that would help make nursing easier on myself. After pumping for eight months with Big JaMonkey, I never had the problem of pulling out a breast to feed in public. With our newest addition, I am having success and plan to keep it up. Nursing in the hospital required pulling curtains, getting pillows and then pulling your shirt up, so I finally broke down and started researching options on making this process much easier on me.
There are a few things that I discovered after looking for nursing clothes. The first thing was that there wasn’t much to choose from. The next is that they aren’t cheap! Then I realized something great. Layering a tank top with a regular shirt so that you aren’t hanging out up top or showing your entire midriff. So my search was on to find a Nursing Tank Top to purchase to start wearing underneath my regular tops. I wasn’t willing to pay $50 for a tank top, so I had nearly given up until I found the Undercover Mama.

The other great thing about this top is the material. It has a great deal of stretch to it. Perhaps you’ve seen some of those compression tank tops that help suck in your post-baby belly?
