This post brought to you by Kohl’s.
I was really hoping to visit the White House this Easter for the annual Easter Egg Roll but we didn’t get a lottery spot or an invitation this year. I’ve been waiting to apply until Peanut was old enough to enjoy it without a stroller. I’ll be trying again next year for sure though. I had plans to find them fancy dresses to wear to the event but decided on simple dresses that they can wear all year long instead. Not to mention Kohl’s carries OshKosh B’Gosh and Carter’s (our favorite kids live) so we were able to find a couple great styles for spring. We dressed them up to Easter egg hunt around the house with our family. It made for some great family pictures.
I also found my husbands favorite brand, Haggar, at Kohl’s. He loves their Cool 18 pants, they’re lightweight pants that are super soft. Designed for golfers to keep them cool during all 18 holes. They also have some of the best men’s fashion sweaters and casual shirts as well. But I was more excited about leaving the kids at home and spending some alone time for some retail therapy. I was about to discover some of the great designers in the women’s department like Jennifer Lopez, Vera Wang and Lauren Conrad. I snagged a cute Cinderella shirt from Lauren Conrad’s new Disney Cinderella line. Her sizes go up to size 16! There really is something for everyone in the family.
I also found this cute cornflower blue dress from Apt. 9 that I decided to wear to a photoshoot I was doing for Best Self Atlanta magazine. They brought in a hair and makeup team to make us camera ready. I have to say, they did an awesome job and I can’t wait to share the Mother’s day post with you guys.
Here is a behind the scenes look of our Mother’s day group. From left to right, Kelley creator of Bamboo Juices, Brenda Wood from 11 Alive Atlanta, me, and then Maria from Mamalicous Maria.
I paired the dress will an orange belt and orange sandals. The necklace is the Pop Geo Pendant from Stella & Dot. We had fun shooting pictures and I can’t wait to see the final article and pictures.
I think your hair looked gorgeous 😀
