“I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Boys & Girls Clubs of America. I received a promotional item as a thank you for participating.”

Boys_Girls_Clubs_America_LogoI’m so excited to be a part of the Boys & Girls Club (BGCA) Back-to-School Ambassador program! As a child I was a member of the BGCA. So I love helping them out about spreading the word about their great programs. They do such good things with kids during the summertime and after school. I wish we had one near our house so that my girls could do the after school or summer camp programs. The ones in the Atlanta area were great! Seeing so many kids playing and working on their homework instead of un supervised at home.

The BGCA has partnered with jcpenny to do a ‘jcpenney cares round up campaign.’ For the month of July you could round-up your purchase to the nearest whole dollar amount. The extra change goes directly to supporting after school programs at the Boys & Girls Clubs across the country. So if you’re shopping at jcpenny today for some back to school fashions for the kids, make sure you round up your total.

It’s such an easy way to do your part, all while back to school shopping! I love these programs because it only takes a simple yes or no when you’re at the register to do your part. No one likes charge weighing you down anyways. 😉 My extra change usually ends up in my daughter’s piggy banks anyways.

There are lots of other ways you can help this great organization out. check out the Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s website for more details. Stay tuned for the next way you can help the BGCA with a school supply pop quiz!
