Have you seen Mockingjay: Part 1 yet? If you answered no, my first question would be why the heck not!? Mockingjay is the final book in The Hunger Games and one of the hardest to get through without tearing up. I’m an avid Hunger Games fan and I’ll admit that Mockingjay was not my favorite book in the series. The first half of the book is slow and it’s a lot about District 13. Katniss is pretty messed up by everything that has happened so it follows that for a long time. I didn’t think it was two movies worth but I am glad that I was mistaken.
It was filled with story and enough action to keep you interested. They elaborated a few scenes to add some action but then again, so did Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 2 and that turned out better than the book as well. If you dive deep into the storyline it’s all pretty disturbing. I won’t give away any spoilers this time because you just need to go see it in theaters. Your heart will be pounding. I’m already ready to go see it again. It’s a powerful start to what is going to be a massive big finish.

Firebird is a solid dark romantasy read. You have dragon-shifter political leaders of Rome. A witch who I don’t think we have seen the full extent of her power yet. There were so many little side stories told that I believe our FMC will ...
Oh Haymich, my heart is shattered for you. This was the perfect bridge between The Ballard of Songbirds and Snakes and Catching Fire. Linking the wickedness of The Hunger Games with the victors who came together to end them. If Suzanne C...
This was a sweet romance read. I really enjoyed the audiobook narrators (Joshua Manning and Stina Nielsen). I don’t usually read books that fall into the religious category, but I’m a sucker for Scots and Irishman so that is why I wanted...
I am thoroughly enjoying the Hell Bent series. My Demon Hunter was even better than My Funny Demon Valentine. I’m a sucker for demonology stories, and these are filled with all kinds of interesting characters. This one features a plus-si...
