A blue and red cocktail fit for Captain Marvel herself. This Carol Corps approved drink is out of this world.
Captain Marvel hits theaters March 8th and we are super excited to finally see Earth’s Mightiest HERo on the big screen.
I’ve been prepping for the big screen debut of Carol Danvers for a long time. Her story is one that I have been begging Marvel to do a movie for. She is sassy, snarky, and did I mention she’s a Star Wars fan? Yeah, she’s my spirit animal.
This month also marks a new chapter in her story in Marvel Comis as well. A new series of Captain Marvel comics launched this week and while I normally read them digitally, I decided to grab a physical copy this time. Kelly Thompson takes over in 2019 and it looks like her “back story” is slightly different from previous collections. Her story shifted in the recent The Life of Captain Marvel series, which I haven’t read yet, I’m waiting for the collected print edition because I LOVE the art.
In Captain Marvel #1 (2019-) Carol Danvers is born to a Kree mother and human father. A Kree device activated her latent powers to make her Earth’s Mightiest Hero and an Avenger.
I also got a new Captain Marvel sweater that I’m in LOVE with! I’m also working on a cool new Hala Star Captain Marvel necklace I can’t wait to show you guys.
I love a great themed drink recipe so I am all about this Captain Marvel alcoholic cocktail. The blue drink is garnished with red sugar sprinkles that line the top of the glass. You can even throw in a few star sprinkles.
