Sometimes it can be hard to get your kids involved in charity efforts and teaching them to give. But July 30th is Friendship day and what better way to get them involved than with their favorite My Little Pony friends!? My Little Pony has partnered with generationOn to create fun games, videos and activities that you can do with your kids.
generationOn is the youth service division of Points of Light, igniting the power of kids and teens to make their mark on the world. generationOn inspires, equips and mobilizes hundreds of thousands of kids and teens annually to take action through service, service learning and youth leadership initiatives. It also provides tools and resources to kids, teens, families, youth practitioners and educators to help kids change the world and themselves through service.
You can get your kids involved in a number of service activities. Use the Elements of Harmony to pick the activity your child wants to participate in.Each Pony represents a program.
Health & Wellness, Homelessness & Poverty, and Hunger.
Then there’s Education, Animal Welfare, and Environment.
How will you celebrate Friendship Day?

My granddaughter would do any of them. She’s a very giving, wonderful child. If I had to pick one it would be animal welfare because she loves all animals.
We can only choose one? Lol probably education or health and wellness.
Such great ideas! I think we might focus on the homeless one first. My kids have always mentioned making those ziploc baggies of supplies for the homeless. This would be a great lead in.
My girlie would probably choose Magic/education. That’s my guess, anyway! Cute idea.
I love the idea of getting them involved in service activities.
My DIVA would love to work with animals but her favorite pony is Rarity.
