The Misfit Shine takes activity tracking to a new level of wearable tech. I’ve tried other devices and they all get lost or washed in the washed in the laundry. Then I found the Misfit Wearables Shine activity tracker and have been able to track my steps and sleep far easier.

The first thing you’ll notice about the new Shine is that it is sleek and you don’t even know by looking at it that it’s an activity monitor. It is the size of a quarter and extremely thin as well.

Shine Features:
•Activity Tracking
•Steps
•Activities: Swimming, Biking, Tennis, etc.
•Sleep
•Calories
•Clock
•Waterproof
•Extra Accessories (includes Magnet clip)
      •Leather Bands

      •Sport band

      •Necklace

Right out of the box you get two ways to wear your Shine. This one is the sport band and clasp. It comes with the thin sports band, magnetic clasp, the battery, the battery tool and the Shine. Misfit Shine Activity Tracker Review

The clasp is way to wear the Shine on your clothes similar to a clip. The only different is that it has a strong magnet in to to keep it in place. You can also see hoe thin the Shine is too. I would say it’s roughly the size of 3 or 4 quarters together.

The magnet lets you place it anywhere, on a shirt, pocket or even wear it as a tie clip. This gives the Shine far more options than other devices on the market. The Shine also has some awesome accessories that you can choose to wear instead of the clasp. Misfit Shine Activity Tracker Review

Like the sports band, which is how I prefer to wear my Shine. This places the shine on my wrist so that I don’t lose it from getting knocked off while I’m wrestling with my kiddos. I’m also really bad about checking pockets so I’ve washed my trackers in the past, ruining them. Misfit Shine Activity Tracker Review

The Shine tracker also shows you the time after it shows you your step progress. Making this the chicest watch I’ve ever owned! It syncs with your iPhone (Android coming soon) over Bluetooth. Misfit Shine Activity Tracker Review

The sports band is really thin and light, so I rarely notice that it’s there. You can also get a necklace and a watch band to wear your Shine in. They even have leather bands and different Shine colors to choose from at Best Buy.

My only complaint about the Shine is the battery. I hate having to buy a new one every 4 months to make sure it keeps working. Something this awesome that was crowd and investor funded I thought would be charging wirelessly, maybe on a power mat or something like that. Maybe the next version though.

Shine is a gorgeous device that will empower people to be more proactive about their personal health. Especially since it’s so pretty to look at! Mine is a special edition Red (thanks Coca-Cola) that I LOVE! I wear it all day every day. I never take it off. Why would I need to?

Shine is exclusively available in additional colors at Best Buy including Silver, Black, Champagne and Topaz.
