Thanks to Mom it forward and Chick-fil-a for hosting me and my friends to try out the new salads.
Chick-fil-A just did a huge overhaul of their salads. I’m a big salad lover, so I was excited to visit my local store to try them out. The amazing staff was so knowledgable about the new salads. I was very impressed.
The first salad we tried was the Grilled Market Salad. The salad blended your veggies with tons of fruit. Strawberries, blueberries, and apples. Blue cheese crumbles, carrots and cabbage. The salad is 180 calories without the additional toppings. It also comes with a harvest nut granola and a roasted nut blend. Top it off with the Zesty Apple Cider Vinaigrette to make it a filling low calorie choice.
Next, we tried the Cobb Salad. Topped with crispy chicken, roasted corn, eggs, cherry tomatoes, shredded Monterey jack & cheddar cheeses and bacon. It also comes with these amazing charred tomato & crispy red bell pepper crumbles. It comes with an Avocado Lime Ranch dressing that is also fantastic. 430 calories before the crumbles.
Last, was the Asian Salad. This salad features crispy chicken and mandarin oranges. You can top it with honey-thai almonds and chinese garlic & ginger wontons. It comes with a Honey Sesame dressing. 330 calories before the additional almond and wonton toppings.
The Cobb salad ended up being my favorite but they are all really good. It was a tough decision. It’s so flavorful though. I’d get it without the egg and bacon next time. Unfortunately, it’s the highest the one with the highest caloric number so I’ll only be getting it once in a while when I’m having a good salad craving. Otherwise I’ll be sticking with the Market salad. My little one likes to eat the fruit out of it so it drops the calories even more.
The salads start at at $6.79, each salad will offer two or more servings of vegetables or fruit. The salad dressings were what stood out to me the most. They are bold and flavorful. You could pull off a boring salad with one of these dressings on top of it. The new Chick-fil-a salads are made fresh to order. So nothing that’s been sitting around. Here’s a video telling you all about it.
I’ve heard really good things about these salads. I’d love to try one, but we don’t live anywhere near a Chick-fil-A.
I am addicted chicfila. it’s a problem.
Yum! I noticed their salads last time I was there, now Im wishing that I would have gotten one.
they look really good, however Chick Fil A is not a restaurant our family will patronize.
LOVE Chick fil A! I’ll have to try these salads — plus they have Diet Dr Pepper my fav! 🙂
I’m always making salads. It would be so convenient to be able to buy a nice salad.
These look delicious!
I was just there and almost tried a salad. Now you have me wishing I would have.
