We cut the cord a couple of years ago and now only use streaming services to watch all our favorite shows, movies, YouTube, content, and more. We got a Google Chromecast that plugs into our existing HDTV by an HDMI port. You can start watching something on your phone or iPad and then cast it to your TV to continue watching.
I was sick of paying an arm and a leg for regular TV services, especially when the kids and my husband prefer to watch content on their devices like YouTube. Now they can cast it to the TV and watch it in a bigger format.

We use YouTube TV to watch and DVR our favorite network shows and sports. Netflix for movies and there are a ton of other ways you can watch. If it has a cast button, you can throw it on the TV. Facebook shows, YouTube music playlists, HBO NOW and over 2000 more apps. ¹ Find more at g.co/chromecast/¹
You can even use your Google Home products² and turn them on with just your voice to watch. “Ok Google, play Stranger Things from Netflix on my living room TV.” ¹
You’ll need a high-speed internet connection to stream.
You can get the Google Chromcast at Best Buy
