Disney’s The Little Mermaid Comes to the Fox Theatre

Disney’s THE LITTLE MERMAID will make its Southeastern Premiere when it swims onto the Fox Theatre stage July 8-13, 2014

.  “Theater of the Stars is honored to be one of a handful of Regional Theaters in the country chosen by Disney to mount a local production of this amazing show,” said Christopher B. Manos, Producer of Theater of the Stars.   “We expect tremendous interest in the show and the cast will certainly include some local Atlanta actors of all ages, sizes and shapes.”

In a magical kingdom beneath the sea, the beautiful young mermaid Ariel longs to leave her ocean home to live in the world above. Based on one of Hans Christian Anderson’s most beloved stories, with music by eight-time Academy Award winner Alan Menken, it’s a hauntingly beautiful love story for the ages. Come fall in love with the magic for the first time—or all over again!
