DIY Harry Potter WandsExpecto Patronum! Ok wizards, It’s time to become your own wandmaker since we can’t make it to Ollivander Wand Shop in Diagon Alley. These are super simple to make and fantastic for Harry Potter fans.

Here is what you’ll need for this project:
Bamboo Chopsticks
Hot glue gun and glue sticks
Brown acrylic paint
High gloss Modge Podge
Paintbrush

You can find bamboo chopsticks at your favorite Chinese/  Thai place or I sometimes like hitting up thrift shops and checking the housewares section for chopsticks also.

Heat up the glue gun and put hot glue all over the “handle” part of the wand. You can go for messy or precise. If you need some inspiration, check out all the characters wands on this pageHarry Potter Wand
Once the glue is dry, paint the wands. You can use solid colors or swirl a couple different shades of brown together.Harry Potter Wand
Lay to dry on newspaper or parchment paperHarry Potter Wand
Once the paint is dry, use a paint brush to spread the Modge Podge on the wand to give it a glossy look.

Let dry and enjoy! Here is a list of fun spells you can learn now that you have your own wand.
