Dolphin Encounter at Georgia Aquarium

Georgia Aquarium now gives guests the opportunity to go behind-the-scenes to meet, touch and feed one of the stars of the AT&T Dolphin Tales show with the launch of its newest interactive program, Dolphin Encounter. While bringing people up close with these charismatic animals, this program will serve as a way to build unforgettable connections and educate guests on the importance of the Atlantic bottlenose dolphin.

“We are thrilled to offer a new, hands-on experience to inspire guests through our dolphin ambassadors here at Georgia Aquarium,” said David Kimmel, Georgia Aquarium president and COO. “The Aquarium is committed to providing opportunities to increase knowledge, change attitudes, create emotional connections and ultimately transform behaviors, which can result in positive impact to conservation.”

Through this encounter, Georgia Aquarium seeks to educate audiences on the importance of embracing aquatic animals, motivating participants to care about them and inspiring them to make positive environmental choices.

Participants will spend some time with one or more of the delightfully charismatic dolphins in the Aquarium’s care, and they will quickly understand what makes these athletic marine mammals some of Georgia Aquarium’s most popular animals. The encounter includes receiving an up-close look at the many ways the Aquarium’s trainers care for the dolphins, participating in a training session and touching a dolphin during this hands-on poolside encounter.  As participants make the acquaintance of their new dolphin friends, they will even learn a few important things about these extraordinary animals.

All guests participating in the encounter will receive a souvenir Georgia Aquarium photograph to commemorate their awe-inspiring experience. Please note that Dolphin Encounter is an add-on experience and is not included with the Total Ticket; Dolphin Encounter does not include general admission access to the Aquarium or to the AT&T Dolphin Tales show.

Sessions will be available per day based on the dolphin show schedule. The cost for the program is $59.95 plus tax. Participants under 16 years of age must each be accompanied by a participating adult responsible for the minor, and guests must be at least 7 years old to participate.

Firebird

Firebird is a solid dark romantasy read. You have dragon-shifter political leaders of Rome. A witch who I don’t think we have seen the full extent of her power yet. There were so many little side stories told that I believe our FMC will ...
Sunrise on the Reaping
it was amazing
Oh Haymich, my heart is shattered for you. This was the perfect bridge between The Ballard of Songbirds and Snakes and Catching Fire. Linking the wickedness of The Hunger Games with the victors who came together to end them. If Suzanne C...

This was a sweet romance read. I really enjoyed the audiobook narrators (Joshua Manning and Stina Nielsen). I don’t usually read books that fall into the religious category, but I’m a sucker for Scots and Irishman so that is why I wanted...
My Demon Hunter
really liked it
I am thoroughly enjoying the Hell Bent series. My Demon Hunter was even better than My Funny Demon Valentine. I’m a sucker for demonology stories, and these are filled with all kinds of interesting characters. This one features a plus-si...
