Hosting an outdoor movie night is so much fun during the summer. We had a Dumbo circus themed party with carnival games, printables, and fun snacks.

Dumbo is a classic that I can’t get enough of, so when my favorite director, Tim Burton, did a live action of the movie I was so excited. It was time to break out my projector and have an outdoor movie night with the family. Disney sent us Dumbo and all the fun circus-themed items to get the party started.

The girls ate popcorn, circus peanuts, and animal crackers and drank juice from adorable circus tent sippers. We played fun carnival games while we waited for the sun to go down. After the sunset, it was time to watch Dumbo. Dumbo Circus Themed Movie Night

We picked one of the longest days of summer (right before the solstice) so we were up late watching the movie. There were lots of fireflies out too, it was a magical night. We didn’t get a chance to see Dumbo in the theaters so this was a fun way to experience the movie for the first time. The movie is visually stunning. I’ve always loved Tim Burton’s style.
