Earth Day (Week) Family Printables

Earth Day, April 22, is around the corner, and while Earth should be celebrated every day, this is a time to pause, reflect and pay extra attention to caring for our only planet. To help parents and kids unite, Netflix has created a Family Earth Week Activity Booklet filled with fun and engaging ways your family can protect the planet.

Parents want a happy and healthy future for their kids, but climate change puts that at risk. Kids will live through three times as many climate disasters as their grandparents. Young people already know this — 84% of youth worldwide are worried about climate change, and 75% think the future is frightening.

Where do you start with a problem so daunting? It starts at home. Dr. Katharine Hayhoe says the “most important thing you can do to start fighting climate change is to talk about it.” Spark a conversation by watching one of the dozens of Netflix Sustainability Stories. There’s something for every age group — you can find inspiring climate solutions nestled in preschool animation, epic movies, and hilarious shows.

The conversations you start with your family can have a big impact. Download the Netflix Family Earth Week Activity Booklet to help start the conversation in your household. You’ll find viewing recommendations for kids of all ages and fun family activities, like a nature scavenger hunt, bingo, recipes for repurposing leftovers, and a 15-minute cooperative board game!

Sunrise on the Reaping
it was amazing
Oh Haymich, my heart is shattered for you. This was the perfect bridge between The Ballard of Songbirds and Snakes and Catching Fire. Linking the wickedness of The Hunger Games with the victors who came together to end them. If Suzanne C...
Some Like It Scot

This was a sweet romance read. I really enjoyed the audiobook narrators (Joshua Manning and Stina Nielsen). I don’t usually read books that fall into the religious category, but I’m a sucker for Scots and Irishman so that is why I wanted...
My Demon Hunter
really liked it
I am thoroughly enjoying the Hell Bent series. My Demon Hunter was even better than My Funny Demon Valentine. I’m a sucker for demonology stories, and these are filled with all kinds of interesting characters. This one features a plus-si...
