This is a sponsored post as part of the ShakleeCorporation blogger program. I have received free products, online support and incentives for participating. My opinions are my own. People following the weight-loss portion of the Shaklee 180™ Program can expect to lose 1-2 pounds per week.
Well, the end of May and most of June were “Lazy” times. I have been so busy with life in general that I didn’t do much working out. I managed to make it out to my fun Superhero Sprint and shaved off 10 minutes off my time! I was out and about for events but also behind my computer a lot working on a project that took all my attention. So I wasn’t really “lazy” I was just super caught up with what I was working on.
I’ve also gotten a little burnt out of the flavors. I had a few favorite smoothie recipes that I turned to but I was in desperate need for some new ones. Thank goodness for my other Shaklee 180™ Bloggers, they share random recipes that are fantastic. One of my new favorites has coffee in it!
You mix Starbucks Via into the smoothie to give it a kick. Here is one I created.
Starbucks Via – Pumpkin Spice Latte
4 oz Almond milk
4 oz Fat Free Milk
2 scoops of Vanilla Shaklee 180™ Smoothie mix.
Pour over ice for an iced pumpkin spice latte! YUM!
Another great thing I’ve started doing with my smoothies, instead of using milk or water I’ve replaced it with fruit / vegetable juices. My favorites are Naked juices. Green Goddess mixed with the vanilla Shaklee 180 Smoothie mix and frozen blueberries. It’s yummy. I get a huge dose of fruits and veggies in my smoothies but all you can taste is the fruit. Plus it changes things up so I’m not burnt out on it. I dropped down to one meal replacement a day but I need to kick it back up. On the upside of this month I finally got around to joining the gym. Next week, after I return from Reviewer’s Retreat, I’ll be able to head to the gym on a regular schedule. I can drop both of the girls off to play for a little while so I can get my sweat on.
I need to start doing some muscle building. I think that will help shed the extra inches I’m storing. Tone up this flabby skin I have. I still have more weight to lose. I’m not giving up yet. Let’s hope for a better next month. I’ll also admit that being a blogger (especially a travel writer) you are treated to some amazing meals. It’s a huge weakness. Trying new foods, that I don’t have to cook!
Yum first off! Secondly, way to shave 10 minutes off your time! Each day is a new day! Tell me how I can help support you!
