My daughter has turned into a glow in the dark, lights at night addict. For Christmas she received a glow board that you can hang on the wall. Glow Crazy sent us this really cool Glow Crazy Dome to try out and see how she liked it. She was excited to be able to finally play with her doodle and light up toys without having to wait until it’s dark outside. She takes her Night lights in the tent too.
It’s a pop up tent that is big enough to fit at least two children inside. It’s made with black material so that its completely dark inside. There are two vents near the bottom of the tent to promote air flow so it doesn’t get too hot inside.
The set also comes with a light pen and a few stencils. At first I thought they were a strong material. But after a few minutes with my youngest they tore to shreds. I advise you to keep them away from baby fingers. The light pen has a black light type tip that make the the glow area start to glow.
The other drawback to this tent is the amount of space that is given to draw. I though they would be able to draw the entire inside of the tent but its actually just one side of it. (White section, see photo above)
But the upside to the tent is that they can draw glow in the dark art any time of day like I mentioned, not just at night. The tent also folds us very easily for storage. It even has a carrying case to put all of it in.
My Lil’ Peanut likes to play in the tent while her sister is at school. I catch her in there with her toys.
