If you’re looking to get a lot of bang for your buck while visiting the Kissimmee/Orlando area I would take a look at the Seralago Hotel & Suites. When planning a vacation most families look for all the great amenities that will come with their stay. Because when you’re burnt out on theme parks (and you will be) you just want to sit back and relax. The Seralago Hotel & Suites offers not one but two heated pools and whirlpools. The pool closest to the Hotel lobby has a tropical bar that you can enjoy a drink while the kids swim in the pool. Also in this area you’ll find the kiddie pool for the much smaller water babies enjoyment.
Also in the main area is a great playground for the kids to play on. It has benches for parents to sit and watch from the side as well. Into sports? There are tennis, volley ball and basket ball courts on the property! If it happens to be raining you can seek shelter in the on-site movie theater where they play movies nightly for the kids! Not time for a movie, that’s ok there is an arcade in the main lobby that the kids can play until it’s time for the movie to start. But aside from the great amenities Seralago also offers something not a lot of hotels offer and that’s Kid Suites. It’s hard having to go to bed at the same time the kids do because you’re all in the same room together. With a Kid Suite the kids get their own space to sleep and watch TV away from the parents. It’s like having a mini kids room inside your big room. We were able to draw the curtain and go about our evening while the kids fell asleep. No hiding in the dark until they fell asleep! I loved this feature because we were traveling with a baby that needed to be in the dark and not in our view to fall asleep. It helped so much.
