This weekend I was asked to check out the new Rio Movie. Which I JUST tweeted that I wanted to see really badly! So I was super excited…oh JaMonkey was too…lol
The cast is amazing!
Leslie Mann, Jesse Eisenberg (The Social Network), Wanda Sykes, Jane Lynch, Rodrigo Santoro (YUMMY), Jamie Foxx, Will.I.Am, Anne Hathaway, George Lopez, Tracey Morgan are amount the huge cast!
The movie is filled with lots of fun music, I wanted to get up and dance the whole time. From the makers of the hit ICE AGE series comes RIO, a comedy adventure about taking a walk on the wild side. Blu is a domesticated Macaw who never learned to fly, living a comfortable life with his owner and best friends Linda in a the small town of Moose Lake, Minnesota. Blu and Linda think he’s the last of his kind, but when they learn about another Macaw who lives in Rio de Janeiro, they head to the faraway and exotic land to find Jewel, Blu’s female counterpart. Not long after they arrive, Blu and Jewel are kidnapped by a group of bungling animal smugglers. With the help of the street smart Jewel, and a group of wise-cracking and smooth-talking city birds, Blu escapes. Now, with his new friends by his side, Blu will have to find the courage to learn to fly, thwart the kidnappers who are hot on their trail, and return to Linda, the best friends a bird ever had.
I’m telling you! Go see this movie, you won’t regret it. I saw it in 3D but JaMonkey wouldn’t keep her glasses on so I plan on seeing it again this weekend!
