Homemade Lavender Soap
Ingredients:
- 4 Squares of ArtMinds Olive Oil Melt & Pour Soap (Purchased at Michaels for $4.99)
- Silicone Mold Cavity
- 2 Tbsp Lavender
- 10 Drops of Lavender Essential Oils
Directions:
Grab a medium sized mixing bowl and drop your 4 squares of melt & pour in it. Place your bowl in the microwave for 40 seconds and remove giving it a good stir. If all the soap is melted move on, if there are a few chunks left pop back in the microwave for another 15 seconds.
Remove from microwave and quickly pour in your Lavender and Lavender Essential Oils and give it a good stir. You need to act fast while the soap is hot because it will start to settle quickly making it hard to pour into the soap mold.
Now that it’s all mixed up carefully pour your soap mixture into your silicone mold and let sit for 2 hours before moving.
After 2 hours pop those soaps out of those molds and they’re ready to be used. Stack them and tie them with a pretty Baker’s Twine Ribbon for the ultimate gift, enjoy.
I love lavender, reminds me of my sister on the other side of life.
