This is another great product that is parent invented, in this case Dad invented! This little gadget has been a huge helper in our house since I have to keep Lil’ Peanut on a strict schedule. I have to make sure she eats at certain times throughout out the day because she cannot eat around the time of her medication. After trying handfuls of apps (my phone is worthless) I finally looked for another solution to our crazy day.

Itzbeen Features:

  • 4 Different timers- Feeding, Diaper Changes, Sleeping and a general
  • Night Light / Backlight Screen
  • Nursing Reminder Left and Right Switch
  • Back clip
  • Small Size
  • Button Lock

We use the general timer for medicine reminders. It’s set to go off every 8 hours. The diapering reminder is great for cloth diapering because it’s important to change or check tiny bums more ofter. It’s handy clip lets me carry it around easily. My favorite feature on the Itzbeen has got to be the light though. When you are trying to find things in the middle of the night is when it is most handy. Pacifiers especially.

This little timer has helped remind me to pump every few hours so that I make enough milk since she isn’t nursing. This is so important so that she can keep getting the nutrition. It’s small enough that I can slip it into my pump and carry with me. I am also glad that they thought to add the button lock feature on this little gadget also. A few times I wondered why it wasn’t going off and I discovered it was because JaMonkey was playing with it. Now I can lock them with the switch on the side. Problem solved!

The Itzbeen is a fantastic gift for first time parents that feel overwhelmed or parents of Preemies that are used to their hospital schedules like mine was. It retails for $24.99 and can be found at stores all over like Babies R Us, Target, Walmart and (cheapest price)
