It’s the first day of Summer and that means it’s time to break out the iced tea, BBQ and hang out by the water! I’ve never owned a Keurig before so I was so excited when the Keurig Walmart team sent me the beautiful Coconut White K40 Elite Brewing System (Thanks #CollectiveBias). I immediately set it up outside for my family to enjoy while we were BBQing outside. We starting brewing up some tasty Snapple Peach Tea, Vitamin Burst, and Sweet Tea that I added raspberry ice cubes to make it a Raspberry Iced Tea.
For the perfect 4th of July themed drink try the Green Mountain Naturals Lemonade with Raspberry,Watermelon or Strawberry ice cubes. It’s super simple to make fruit ice cubes. You just heat water, a small amount of sugar and your fruit on the stove until blended. Cool to room temperature and then pour the mix into your ice cube molds. Garnish with some blue berries. BAM, a red, white and blue drink for your Independence Day gathering.
I can’t get over how simple it is to make a fresh brewed iced drink. It saves me a lot of space in my refrigerator. This summer is proving to be a hot one so far. My Mom and Sister came to visit and we enjoyed a lot of time in the back yard catching up. My Mom moved to Florida this past year and me and the girls have really missed her. She has been helping me wear the kids out by taking them to the lake and hula-hooping.
We’ve been gearing up for the 4th of July this week. We are looking forward to taking the girls to the fireworks show this year. In previous years it’s been hit of miss with cranky babies at bed time but I think we are going to stick it out so that we can see the show together as a family. We will probably BBQ again and have friends and family over. I can’t wait to show them the Keurig and make some of the best K-Cup flavors over ice!

How do you #BrewItUp with the Brew Over Ice K-Cups? Do you have a favorite flavor? I’m dying to try the iced coffee for a mid-day pick me up. You can find the #BrewOverIce K-Cups at Walmart.
This post reminds me that I need to buy some tea k-cups! I have a Keurig but can you believe I have never bought tea for it? I am a ice tea drinker more than a coffee drinker, so I think it is finally time for me to buy some LOL.
I’ve never tried any of the brewed iced teas. A fruit one sounds great.
What a great idea! I love Keurig for my coffee and the brew over ice feature would be perfect for these hot summers! Thanks for the info and the awesome demo!
I had a chance to try them out last night at the Decatur Beach Party and think I might be in love. I really have been holding off on getting one but I’d love it especially for tea because we’re not a coffee house.
What a great idea to set your Keurig up outside, brewing tea over ice looks so refreshing. I love your fruit ice cube idea, so creative,
I love the brew over ice feature. I have some of the lemonades for my big cups!
Oooo, I LOVE your little outdoor setup! If I find a way to plug mine in outside, I’ll never go back in the house! Well, until the snow starts falling 😉
How pretty is that white Keurig brewer for the Summer festivities? I could go for a freshly brewed cup of tea right now! #Client
Love the fruity ice cube idea! I’m seeing strawberry ice in some lemonade now… Mmmmm!
