These Keto Feta Eggs are packed with good fats and so delicious.
I recently started the keto diet back in August, and I have been doing great on it. I’ve lost 40 lbs and feel so much better now than I did before. Keto is a high-fat love carb diet, so I eat a lot of healthy fats to make sure that I’m getting enough each day. One of my favorite breakfasts is this recipe. It’s really simple and so tasty.
I’ve partnered with Handsome Brook Farm Eggs to make this yummy recipe. The eggs from Handsome Brook Farm come from pasture-raised chickens and are organic. Studies show that chickens that have room to roam and forage in the sun and fresh air are more nutritious than other eggs. In fact, pasture raised eggs can contain two times more Omega 3’s, 38% more vitamin A and 23% vitamin E than conventionally raised eggs – making them a super nutritious option at any meal. I didn’t realize that! That is pretty awesome.
Handsome Brook Farm has built a revolutionary network of small family farms with smaller flocks – so they can ensure farmers get the fair wage they deserve and their hens have space, attention, and love they need to produce the best quality eggs.
Eggs pack an excellent source of protein as well as healthy fats. They are a staple in keto cooking and baking. I’m buying nearly 3-4 dozen eggs every two weeks! So the taste and nutrition are important to me; And of course the fact that they are organic.
I like to dress up my eggs in different ways, but this recipe is one of my favorites for breakfast. I love feta cheese because of the strong flavor. When you combine them with scrambled eggs, it’s the perfect combo. I also like to add half of an avocado to get the extra fat I need. I sprinkle everything with a little olive oil and pepper to complete the meal.
You can find Handsome Brook Farm Eggs at your local Sprouts.
