The Word Whammer is a fun new handheld game for ages 4 and older, but my 3 year old LOVES it. I thought she would bee too little to pick up how the handle /joystick works but she got the hang of it super fast.

Check out my video below for a closer look at how the game works.

There are 3 action packed games with 5 different levels that they will advance through as they play. The handle twists and pushes in to select. We love that the learning adapts as she plays. It keeps it more challenging for her and she is learning letter recognition and easy words before she even starts preschool. Word Whammer

With the Word Whammer toy, your child can practice early phonics and spelling skills to build a foundation for reading and writing. With our unique automatic leveling system, the toy dynamically adjusts the curriculum to your child’s level so that your child can be challenged to learn and at the same time achieve success along the way.” -Clement C. Twist for letter sounds, and blast for building words. Thrust the handle to blast a rocket into letters to spell more than 100 words. Match upper and lowercase letters by spinning the handle to bump a car into the correct answer.
