  • Losing the Baby Weight – For Good! #Shaklee180

This is a sponsored post as part of the Shaklee Corporation blogger program. I have received free products, online support and incentives for participating. My opinions are my own.

People following the weight-loss portion of the Shaklee 180™ Program can expect to lose 1-2 pounds per week.

Me in High School…I was hot!

I’ve had two kids. With my first pregnancy I ate whatever I wanted, when ever I wanted. I would eat a box of Nutty Bars a day at work. I gained over 60 pounds. When I gave birth I lost 20 and that was it. I didn’t try hard to lose it. I didn’t really try at all.Until I started thinking about having another baby. Then I freaked!

I have rough pregnancies. I’m always in a lot of pain. I knew that if I was going to carry another baby I needed to lose some weight. So I lost 25 pounds. After my last pregnancy I ate really good mainly because I didn’t eat much. I really only gained a baby for my last pregnancy but I was still overweight. Since her untimely arrived left me pretty badly scared and severe nerve damage I haven’t done much exercise this past year.

I started walking and even completed my first 10K but not since winter rolled around. When the warm weather (and the rain) finally gives me a day I’ll get back out and break in my new running shoes! But I was recently accepted into the Shaklee 180™ Blogger program and I’m so excited about it. It will be a new way for me to lose the weight that I gained 6 years ago. I don’t want to be super model thin but I want the curvy, none lumpy body I once had. Back before specialty bras and clothes that don’t have X’s in them.

This is my now (finishing my first 10K) Say goodbye to that girl. She’s out of here! She’s getting healthy again. I may not look like I did in high school but I’m sure as hell going to try!

Wish me luck and watch my progress. I’ll be posting before and after pictures so you can see!

  • Best of luck to you! I’m down to 112 pounds thanks to breastfeeding, but I’m sooooo out of shape. It’s awesome that you ran a 10K. I did a 5K once which nearly killed me. Haha.

  • Ouch! Hot mama! I know you can get back to that place where you felt good about yourself. And a 10k? Wow, I wish I had that stamina!

I’m so glad to be going on this journey with you! 🙂

  • Wow, I’m impressed you ran a 10k! That’s AWEsome! I hate running, but am working on running a 5k on April 6th. I don’t plan on being fast or breaking any records, but I so want to do it without walking. As of right now, I can only run 1.5 miles (with adrenaline I could push 2 miles, I think)… not sure if I can do the 5k in 32 days or not. :/ Good luck with your weight loss! I’m sure you’ll rock it!

  • Yay! I wish you the best! I’m not even going to try to get to what I was in high school but dropping some weight and toning up would be great!
