Make it a Fun Game Night

This post brought to you by Spin Master Games. The content and opinions expressed below are that of JaMonkey.

Sunday’s are Lazy Sunday’s around my house. We like to relax around the house after a busy week of school (for the kids and myself), dance class, and events. Sometimes when we need to break away from all the screens, we play games together. It’s a fun time to giggle a lot.

My girls love playing games together. We’ve accumulated quite a few over the years. One of our favorites though is Hedbanz. It’s a game of “what am I?” where someone acts out the card that it placed on your head, and you try to guess what or where it is. There are a few different versions, like ones geared towards adults and another for children. The cards are a little easier to guess on the kids version. We even found a Disney and Marvel version! The headbands have Mickey Mouse ears, and Super Hero masks on them.

We had lots of fun playing the game. My youngest couldn’t stop giggling at us acting out the cards. Of course, my 8-year-old loved acting out Toilet Plunger, and I couldn’t stop laughing at her.

Having a game night with your family is a great way to connect with your family. During the holidays when you have family visiting (or you’re visiting family), you can bring games like Hedbanz to pass the time and enjoy each others company.

We had a Hedbanz girls night once with a bunch of my blogging friends. You want to talk about a crazy fun time together. There were so many of us that we were in teams of two and were acting things out together. Not to mention there were a few drinks before we started, so it was highly amusing.

Here is a funny video our them acting out Superman.

Firebird
really liked it
Firebird is a solid dark romantasy read. You have dragon-shifter political leaders of Rome. A witch who I don’t think we have seen the full extent of her power yet. There were so many little side stories told that I believe our FMC will ...
Sunrise on the Reaping
it was amazing
Oh Haymich, my heart is shattered for you. This was the perfect bridge between The Ballard of Songbirds and Snakes and Catching Fire. Linking the wickedness of The Hunger Games with the victors who came together to end them. If Suzanne C...
Some Like It Scot
liked it
This was a sweet romance read. I really enjoyed the audiobook narrators (Joshua Manning and Stina Nielsen). I don’t usually read books that fall into the religious category, but I’m a sucker for Scots and Irishman so that is why I wanted...
My Demon Hunter
really liked it
I am thoroughly enjoying the Hell Bent series. My Demon Hunter was even better than My Funny Demon Valentine. I’m a sucker for demonology stories, and these are filled with all kinds of interesting characters. This one features a plus-si...
