We love Hedbanz the game and the newest model is great for group gatherings. It’s called Hedbanz™ Electronic, and it’s a fast-paced, team-based electronic version of the quick-question game of “What Am I?” This version comes with a cool timer that also keeps track of the score as well as randomly selecting the way you are going to play that round. The “Electronic Host” picks whether you need to Ask It, Do It, or Describe It to the other player. We didn’t have partners, so we played against each other.

My youngest liked helping me cheat from time to time. She would whisper to me about the card on my head. She also got a kick out of us acting out the other person’s card. While she is too young to fully play the game she enjoys being with us to hear all the giggles. We are all together and that is what matters.
I like that the game comes with question cards to help you when you get stuck, which I do from time to time even though the game is for children age 7+. Also noted by my 9-year-old beating me at the game in the video. There are lots of cards to choose from. Animals, Jobs, and Things are some of the picture cards to guess from. It would make a great gift for the kiddos this holiday. I forsee slumber party shenanigans.
Hedbanz is great for family game nights because they are great for kids and even funnier with a group of friends that have been drinking. We played in teams with the original game and had to guess some hilarious things like a toilet plunger. I don’t think I’ve belly laughed that hard in a long time. The Disney version was out favorite but I think this one wins now because of the Electronic Host aspect.
Check out our video to see how the game works. It’s a great video to see the game in action and all the features.
