There are three fur balls and three long haired girls in my house, that means there is a lot of hair to pick up on a regular bases. My newest puppy Kylo Ruff is a short haired dog that sheds like crazy and he also like to chew up his toys into oblivion so there is always fluff and shredded colorful rope all over the place. I cannot keep up with this puppy.
I recently received the new BISSELL® Pet Hair Eraser® Vacuum to test out and review. It came at just the right moment because my puppy chewed through the cord on my last vacuum. One of the things I like about this vacuum is that there is a knob to transfer the suction power from the floor suction to the hose attachment so that you aren’t losing any power while using the handtools.
It has this really cool tangle-free brush head that prevents hair from getting caught around the brush bristles and makes sure it goes into the canister instead. With three girls with long hair in the house, I can tell you it works! No more monthly vacuum cleaning that includes a pair of scissors to the brush roll.
The Bissell Pet Hair Eraser comes with a few tools as well to help with hard to reach places. There is a hand tool that attaches to the hose to get places like stairs or cloth sofas. It has the same type of brush head as the floor section does too. There is also a LED crevice tool for the hard to reach areas like vents and along floorboards. There is also a 2-in-1 pet brush that can be used with the end of the hose that have rubber teeth on one side and brush bristles on the other.
It has a SmartSeal™ Allergen System that helps trap dust, dander and allergens inside the vacuum and the Febreze Filter leaves freshness behind. Which is very helpful with three pups walking around.
After putting the vacuum together I tested it out on my freshly cleaned floor. When I say freshly cleaned I mean vacuumed and carpet shampooed as well. The picture below is everything that came up from my “clean” floor. It’s a mix of pet hair and dust, and I couldn’t believe how much of it came up. The extra-large capacity tank with a patented cyclonic pet hair spooling system helps to separate and capture pet hair for a hands-free empty. Doesn’t matter the length of hair, everything drops out when I click the button. I used to have to reach up and grab the long hair that would wind around the cyclone insert.
So far I am loving this BISSELL® Pet Hair Eraser® Vacuum. If only my dogs didn’t shed as much now. But we love them dearly and can’t imagine life without them so a little hair is ok by us (until I vacuum it up).

I am DOWN with a tangle free brush roll. That’s the grossest part about keeping a vaccuum clean!
