Family Fun recently teamed up with Tinker Crate (the creators of Kiwi Crate) to create a fun DIY project for Halloween and they sent it to us to test out. It’s a motion sensing spider that drops down whenever something moves near it. JaMonkey was thrilled to try it out because she is all about pranking people, especially for Halloween.
The Tinker Crate is designed for ages 9-16+ but my daughter is 8 and she was able to do it with me just fine. It’s a great way to get girls interested in S.T.E.M. learning. The kit comes with everything you need, even batteries, to create this working machine.
Family Fun also included a mini-magazine with some other great DIY projects for Halloween.
