My Favorite Christmas GIft

A few years ago I told my husband that there was only one thing I really wanted for Christmas, a KitchenAid Artisan Mixer in Turquoise Blue. My husband is also a terrible gift giver so I may have taken it upon myself to get one for myself. Look how surprised I look?! Hehe. It’s still my favorite gift today because since I got it I’ve been baking up a storm. This year alone it’s gotten quite a workout.

Baking has always been something that I enjoy doing. Besides having a sweet tooth, I love sharing my creations with my family and friends. They get pretty excited when I break out the mixer. It was a gift that will continue to give throughout many years to come. We all know the true way to a persons heart is through their belly.

Here are some of my favorite recipes from the past year!

  • Best Christmas gift ever! And its in my favorite color! My sister in law got one from my brother for Christmas, so now she has one and my mom has one. This might have to be my mothers day gift to myself (ie: no husband to buy me one).

    really liked it
Firebird is a solid dark romantasy read. You have dragon-shifter political leaders of Rome. A witch who I don’t think we have seen the full extent of her power yet. There were so many little side stories told that I believe our FMC will ...
    Sunrise on the Reaping
    it was amazing
Oh Haymich, my heart is shattered for you. This was the perfect bridge between The Ballard of Songbirds and Snakes and Catching Fire. Linking the wickedness of The Hunger Games with the victors who came together to end them. If Suzanne C...
    Some Like It Scot
    liked it
This was a sweet romance read. I really enjoyed the audiobook narrators (Joshua Manning and Stina Nielsen). I don’t usually read books that fall into the religious category, but I’m a sucker for Scots and Irishman so that is why I wanted...
    My Demon Hunter
    really liked it
I am thoroughly enjoying the Hell Bent series. My Demon Hunter was even better than My Funny Demon Valentine. I’m a sucker for demonology stories, and these are filled with all kinds of interesting characters. This one features a plus-si...
