Who doesn’t love My Little Pony? I know I was obsessed with it growing up and now they have remade it for the new generation, so my daughter now loves it! We’ve watched all the new episodes, specials and movies to date. This summer they came out with a fun movie that brought Twilight Sparkle to a new land where everything from Equestria was a human. Twilight had to fight to win her crown back in time before being stuck in Canterlot high for a long time. It is a clever take on the pony show. Twilight learns that their world is much like her with the same friends are in it as well.
After the movie was released Hasbro came out with a full line of Equestria Girls dolls that my daughter has been eyeing on the shelves. They are super cute dolls that mask their png characters. Our favorite is Rainbow Dash so I was very excited when Hasbro sent her to review. This Rainbow Dash Equestria Girl doll is one of the deluxe versions of the dolls. There is also a Fluttershy version. It includes an additional outfit, accessories and hair extension. Each of the dolls will always come with a book of stickers, a hair brush and a Club Card that you can go online and unlock fun content for the kids to play with.
The deluxe dolls also have more mobility than the other dolls. Their knees and elbows have joints in them. The detail on the Equestria Girl dolls is really great. They even have their cutie-marks near their eyes. The additional accessories that come with Rainbow Dash are a pair of earrings, a bracelet, hairbrush and a back pack. She also has a pair of wings that can be removed with a simple click right into her back. The hair extension can be used in her hair or in your childs hair.
The My Little Pony Equestria Girl Dolls range in price from $12.99-54.99 depending on the set you get. You can find them at the major stores and certain stores have exclusive sets and dolls. Target has a Pinkie Pie Deluxe doll. My favorite is the Wonder Colts Cheerleading Squad sold at Toys R Us.
My daughter is going to love these dolls for the holidays. Perfect for our collection.
