My Love for Longer Necklaces

I was sent the Stella and Dot necklace to review. This post contains affiliate links that help keep this site running. All opinions are my own.

Earlier this year I was invited to do a photoshoot and a lovely Stella and Dot consultant accessorized us for the pictures. That’s when I discovered how well long necklaces look on me. Let’s get a little blunt for a moment. I’m not a tiny little thing. I’m very top heavy and I don’t like wearing low cut shirts or dresses because I’m scared I’m going to fall out. Kohl's Plus Size Fashion

I think it looks great with a solid dress especially like the one I’m wearing above. It is the Pop Geo necklace that is no longer available but the orange accents make the dress pop and I paired it with an orange belt and matching orange shoes. n355s_kimberly-necklace__model_1

For my latest piece, I picked the Kimberly Necklace from Stella & Dot. It’s a solid silver (it also comes in gold) long necklace that has a few dangling pieces at the bottom. It even jingles a little when I walk. I love this one because it looks good with solid colors or with prints. I wore it to the Type-A Conference this past week with my colorful geometric dress (that reminds people of my blog design). It breaks up all the colors and adds a nice touch of bling to my outfit. IMG_1313.JPG

I think long necklaces are going to be my go-to for accessories now. I just love the way they look and feel. Check out Stella & Dot’s huge selection of stylish necklaces, earrings & bracelets
