Last week I let all of you decide which color I was going to paint my office. First let me say, that is very nerve racking! Glad I picked the 3 colors you got to vote on though! It was between a pale Artic Blue, Deep Coral, and Seal Grey. I really put a lot of thought into the colors because I wanted it to be a room that I went into a lot. Something I can work in, sew in and organize myself. Hubby needed a space to because he works from home.
I used Glidden Paint Testers to try out the colors before I bought a full gallon. It was nice to see it in my lighting against the white trim, it really gave me a better idea. Back when I painted JaMonkey’s room I did the same thing, I bought handfuls of testers because I couldn’t find the perfect sage green that I wanted for her room.
What I love about these little testers too is I can use them for little projects around the house and if I ever need to patch a whole I don’t need a huge thing of paint.
So are you ready to see the (partially finished) room? I still have to buy furniture so right now it is in transition but the walls are done!
Almost done! Hubby wouldn’t let me paint so my Do it Yourself project turned into a Honey Do project!
All finished! Seal Grey was the winner. I’ll be putting in all white furniture and I think I will make a few accent pieces with the Deep Coral color because it looks so good together!
