I was provided a free trial Jenny Craig program and meals. However, the opinions expressed are entirely my own.
My Jenny Craig journey is coming to an end, and I couldn’t be happier with my results. I took my after pictures, and when I reviewed them, I found myself smiling with how great they were. Having my neighbor mention that I looked like I’ve lost weight, feels awesome. My clothes fitting looser, makes me jump for joy. Of course, I’ve noticed my weight loss, but when others see it, you know the program is working. As a reward to myself for doing well on the program, I did something I’ve wanted to do for a long time: I dyed my hair in a purple and blue ombre! It turned out exactly as I wanted and my confidence has shot through the roof.
The program lived up to its place on the U.S. News & World Reports list of Best Weight Loss Diets. Jenny Craig has been ranked in the top 3 (out of over 35 reviewed) on this list every year. I believe the bonus of a personal consultant is part of this success. I find my sessions with my consultant very educational when I’m facing challenges.
One of my new favorite meals is the Southwest Salad Topper because Jenny Craig has this delicious Salsa Ranch that pairs perfectly with it. This salad has my favorite combination of black beans, corn, and crunchy tortilla strips in it. So many great flavors melded together.
I have a few more weeks left on my Jenny Craig program, and my consultant has started explaining to me what to plan for to help me keep the weight off. Many Jenny Craig participants stay on the program until they reach their goal weight. Once they achieve that goal, your consultant will help you to stay on track if you start to gain again. You can continue to meet with your consultant even when you aren’t eating Jenny Craig meals. This gives you ongoing support in maintaining your weight.
As I’m finishing up the program, I’m planning on finishing strong and meeting my goal of breaking the two-hundred barrier. I also plan on getting the Anytime Bars and Shakes along with a lunch meal to help me through the busy aspects throughout my day. I’ll be able to implement the portion control that I’ve learned during the program when I go out to eat or when making my dinner plate at home. I’ve already started this practice by cutting my meals in half at the restaurant and putting the other half in a to-go box. When I’m dining at home, I use smaller plates so that I don’t fill the plate up with food. This makes eating the right portion sizes much easier. The option of eating Fresh & Free Additions also teaches you to reach for healthier options when you feel hungry.
I’ve been very happy with the Jenny Craig program, and I’ve been raving about it to my friends offline as well. I feel so much better and this has helped me become more active. We’ve gone kayaking, camping, and whitewater rafting this summer. These are all things that I have been dying to do but never had the energy to get out and do. Having the energy to be outdoors more opens the door to new adventures that I haven’t experienced before. My future is filled with bright hair colors and exploring new places with my family with confidence.
*Results not typical. Members following the Jenny Craig program, on average, lose 1-2 lbs. per week. I received promotional consideration.
Great job and I loved your hair when I saw it at the Braves game!
Maintaining is the hardest part. I did it for several years on a low carb diet – then life and motherhood and life got in the way.
You’re inspiring me to re-evaluate some of my recent choices.
That is a killer picture of you! I’m so happy that you have that ongoing support from your consultant…. and your friends 🙂 You’re beautiful inside and out! #oneperfamily
