New Epcot Logo Brings New Merch

D23 Expo brought a huge list of announcements, many of them were for all the changes coming to Epcot. One of the ones I was most excited about was the release of the new Epcot logo! The typography of the logo before was so, meh, and didn’t really capture Epcot. The new logo looks much like the one proposed in 1978.

The block lettering is simple and still futuristic. Here is a look at some of the new merchandise being released at Epcot this fall and winter.

“The Epcot Center logo symbolizes unity, fellowship, and harmony around the world. Five outer rings are linked to form the shape of a flower–a celebration of life. The heart of the logo is the Earth, embraced by a star symbolizing hope–the hope that with imagination, commitment, and dedication, we can create a better tomorrow.” -Marty Sklar

The Epcot Mickey ear hat is my favorite. It is a holographic material that feels waterproof. I feel like I’m wearing Spaceship Earth!

There are two different logo design shirts that I’ve seen as well. One with the text logo and colored dots underneath, and the “flower” design pictured above.

Thanks to Disney for sending us some of the great new merchandise pieces coming out!

Sunrise on the Reaping
it was amazing
Oh Haymich, my heart is shattered for you. This was the perfect bridge between The Ballard of Songbirds and Snakes and Catching Fire. Linking the wickedness of The Hunger Games with the victors who came together to end them. If Suzanne C...

My Demon Hunter
really liked it
I am thoroughly enjoying the Hell Bent series. My Demon Hunter was even better than My Funny Demon Valentine. I’m a sucker for demonology stories, and these are filled with all kinds of interesting characters. This one features a plus-si...
