O.M.G Yo Gabba Gabba

I thought this posted a day after the event but I was wrong 

I’ll admit I am totally one of the Yo Gabba Gabba parent fanatics. Barneys doesn’t have shit on Yo Gabba Gabba. We are obsessed. I love watching it with JaMonkey because the music is fun, they have the best bands too. Those of you that watch the show with your kids you completely understand. Its for the new age parents. It’s “hip.”

Anyways, we received tickets for the event and I was stoked about going. So was JaMonkey but I was probably more excited. I’m totally cool like that. Swear I wasn’t a teenager jumping up and down when I got there. Then they got on stage. I may have welled up with tears. It was a moment. I shared a moment of aw with my daughter. THAT’S ALL. No harm in that.

The show was fantastic the kids were smiling and all the parents were singing and everyone danced. Intermission rolled around and Kia had a text shout out scrolling on the screen. It was really cool so I sent one in. Once the show started back my butt started to vibrate. Yeah chuckle it up sounds funny coming from me. As I looked down at my phone I did a double take.

CONGRATS!!! You’ve won a meet and greet with the cast after the show! O’M double G! Are you kidding me. It came through again just to make sure I wasn’t dreaming. I skipped out of the Fabulous Fox theatre looking for my Kia rep.

Hooked up with wrist bands we walked across the street to head to the VIP party. There was food and drinks. Toys and coloring pages for the kids. Then the characters walked in right behind us. The kids went crazy.

We were able to take a professional photo with our whole group and just as a family. Don’t you love that freaked out face and then a few minutes later she is completely fine?

Either way it was a blast. Every time we get in the car she asks if we are going to see Yo Gabba Gabba now!
