Organizing Your Pots and Pans

Here are some great organizing tips and products that will help you organize your pots and pans that are stored in kitchen cabinets.

Organizing your pots and pans makes them easier to see and get to when you are cooking in the kitchen. Grab a pan without pulling all of them out to find the one you’re looking for.

Pots and pans are a pain in my butt. You have to pull all of them out to get to the one you are looking for, or you pull one out and the rest come tumbling out on your toes. I finally got what I needed to organize my pots and pans.

This is what the cabinet looked like before. You couldn’t find anything in this mess.

Pots and Pans Before

Here is what I bought:
Lid Rack

Pan Organizer

I highly suggest this organizer though because after using my set up I wish I had gotten this Frying Pan Sorter because my smaller pans slip through the top. (UPDATE: I bought the Frying Pan Sorter and it is SOOOOO much better!)

The pan sorter normally stays flat but I screwed mine to the side of the cabinet. This makes it easier for me to grab a pan out without pulling all of them out at the same time.

Pots and Pans Organization

Look at all the space I have now! It makes my life just a little easier. It also makes it easier for my kids to put the dishes away in a specific place versus just throwing it in a cabinet.

Here are some other ways to organize around your house:

Here are some other great products that are awesome for organizing your Pots & Pans. If you have a lot of sheet pans or cutting boards I like the organizers that you can stand everything up in to make it easier to grab something out. They all stand up and slide into the cabinet. The pan sorters I shared above are also great for standing your sheet pans up in a cabinet.

  1. Love it and want those organizers for my kitchen. I love organization posts, it gives me ideas and the motivation to organize my home.

  2. Wow, I never thought of this or even knew I could get on to hold the covers I hate having them with my pots and pans and they are always in the way. Our cupboard doesn’t even have the top shelf so I need to ask my nephew to help us get this taken care of. Yay!, Glad to see this post for sure

  3. OMG i totally need this! it is so true you have to sort through them to get the one you need and this solves the problem! I LOVE IT!!!

  4. Great idea but I was pretty shocked – if those pans were mine I’d be too embarrassed to take photos. You need to treat yourself to some new pans 🙂

  5. I don’t have a lot of cooking pan in the house but this will help me go through if I will buy a couple or so. Nice pictures and great ideas!
