Raya and the Last Dragon is a new film coming to theaters Thanksgiving 2020. The film is a combination of classic Disney and kung-fu movies. Raya, a lone warrior from the fantasy kingdom of Kumandra who teams up with a crew of misfits in her quest to find the Last Dragon and bring light and unity back to their world. The region is split into five sections.
Raya is voice by Cassie Steele and Sisu, the last Dragon is voiced by Awkwafina. The Last Dragon was left on Earth in case dark forces return to the world
Described as including otherworldly creatures and fantastical places in an epic fantasy adventure inspired by themes of community and hope, cultures, and scenery of Southeast Asia.
Kumamdra is a reimagined world of 5 distinct planets. Raya is a lone warrior searching for the last dragon who can save the world.
